Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo for our new bike shop called: "IKON cykler". "Cykler" means bicycles in Danish. We named the shop "IKON" since we want to be iconic in everything we do. We provide iconic products, service and knowledge as well as top of the line "bike fit" systems.

Further more we have a payoff to the logo/name: "Fordi der er forskel". Roughly translated it means "We make a difference". The payoff should be a part of the logo as well.

So it would be: "IKON cykler - Fordi der er forskel."

We want to start a medium to high end bike shop at a specific place in Denmark, where you come to get great products and great service via knowledge about our products. We want to become THE PLACE to go if you want to know something about specific products. We will not be selling crap or poorly designed products that doesn't work - we will only want to have the best.

We are the only service center in the local community, and we want to become the BEST. We provide service to all bikes at low costs as well as the best personal service. You want to come to us - because we value you as a customer.

We will not be present in the bulk market for bikes; where a bike costs between 300 - 1000 $. Other very big players own that marketplace.

Our shop will present bikes, accessories and clothes in the mid and upper market. And we will not have everything in that market. We want to become the specialists in certain labels in every product group, so we will be able to provide worldclass advise based on "difference and benefits".

Service and knowledge above all.... and great products.

The logo:

The logo should have a scandinavian look. Nothing fancy and over done, it must be simple and yet exclusive.

It must be so we can use it for all our merchandise. On the front of the shop, at our website, on our clothes, sports bottles etc.

It is a high end shop and the logo should say that.
