Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Brief - We are national health service surgical department in the UK that is looking for a logo to promote our service. Orthopaedics involves surgical procedures to fix broken bones and other less urgent problems such as arthritis of the hip with joint replacement surgery. The logo will promote our service as brand to patients, researchers and fellow surgeons/healthcare practitioners. It will appear on all emails, business cards, PowerPoint presentations, around the hospital and clothing.

An important aspect of the logo is for it to be simple, display our service in words and be recognisable. Furthermore, the logo should be modern, easily readable from near and far, scalable for use on different formats and timeless. Its importune the logo is not too busy.

Important iconic things/images of the city of Liverpool that may be beneficial to include are the Liver bird or abstract vision of the bird. We are open to ideas and happy to use abstract concepts but keeping the logo simple.

Other potential things to incorporate could be a reference to the type of surgery we perform, fixing broken bones and also an important historical symbol of what we do is a tree being held up as in the images below.

• Reflect the city of Liverpool that we serve according to the brief above such as reference to the liverbird or abstract version of it. Perhaps the nature of our work - fixing bones or tree symbol see below.
  The logo should be modern, easily readable, scalable for use on different formats and timeless. Happy to have abstract concepts as well.
  
  Additional idea would be to incorporate an abbreviation of the logo to LOTS as well as 'Liverpool Orthopaedic and Trauma Service' in a version of the logo but primary logo must display -'Liverpool Orthopaedic and Trauma Service' only.
