Resumen de Diseño de Logo

The attached logo was created for me and I am 90% happy with it. I like that when you look closely, there is an "A" in the middle of the sound wave design.

What I don't like this:
1) The color scheme.
2) The fact that the "A" in the sound wave does not match the A in "Amplify"

I am interested in looking at other solutions to this.

We are a IT recruiting business. Our customers are IT companies that work with the Federal government. We want to appeal to hiring managers (project mangaers, program managers, directors) at these companies AND to IT talent (engineers, developers, etc.)
