Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Hi there. I'm an sparky (electrician) and I love surfing, I'm not after a logo with the traditional light bulb, lightning strike or a plug. I live in a place called Mount Maunganui where there is a big volcano that sticks out of the earth surrounded by ocean in which one side produces awesome clean hollow barreling waves.
The idea is to have a wave with the mountain in the background or through the wave. Rather than focusing on the 'Electric' in the company name I thought Id focus on the 'Bay'.
Try to be a little bit different. I have attached my current logo that has served me well, to be fair I haven't even needed a logo, its more of a want rather than need really.
I want to keep it pretty simple but not as simple as the Quicksilver logo, which I realize this is what mine sounds like.
If you can incorporate some kind of electrical component into the logo that might be cool to possibly.

I have also attached a couple of pictures of the surf spot with the Mountain/Volcano I live by.

I'm happy for other simplistic designs that incorporate the electrical trade and the surf scene if you have any ideas.

As for colors Im not to sure, Il leave it up to the pros, cheers.
