Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Would like a mascot/caricature logo based on attached photo of an online educator (male) who always wears a hat and who teaches about success in personal finance, startup businesses, information security and other topics. This is a business-to-consumer play, and needs to be both fun and trustworthy.
The logo will contain a caricature version of the person wearing a hat similar to one of the photos provided (artist can adjust as desired to make it look good), and the title "Mad Hat MBA". Note that the words "Mad Hat" are upper/lowercase but "MBA" is all uppercase. You do not need to match the shirt coloration; might be best to have a single color for the short. Use some artistic license with the face, does not have to be photo-realistic. The bookshelf in the background does not have to be included unless you think that helps with the overall design of the logo.
While this logo is to be based on a caricature/mascot concept, don't want to get too crazy.
BRAND ATTRIBUTES: trustworthy, professional, friendly, helpful, smart, not too serious, relaxed, interesting, positive. NOT: Not crazy, wacky, strange or silly. Hat concept flexible but based on men's 1950's style fedora, trilby or gangster-style hats - however anything interesting (except baseball cap) might work. Will be used on Youtube channel and social media; lettering should not be difficult to read so I tend not to like script, thin lettering or anything hard to read on a smart phone or small device.
COLORS: Colorful, eye-catching. For the hat, a purple or purplish blue might work but not too crazy like a batman character. Otherwise it could be grey like in one of the photos I am providing. Not sure I'd like the hat to be black, and I don't want a "top hat". I like the idea of having a fairly bright color green used somehow as the brand is alot about personal finance (US Money = Green). I also keep thinking that the logo would look good with purple as one of the colors.
AUDIENCE: Young millennial are the way through to businesspeople and retired individuals.
USE: Plan to use on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Website/Blog.
