Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I have recently launched a dog photography business in Rome, Italy and I really need a logo to help with marketing. The name of the business is 'Cani Romani' which is Italian for 'Roman dogs'. I would really like both elements of this included in the logo; dogs and Rome. The dogs should me more prominent though.
I have a design that I like that I put together that needs polishing , but I am also open to other designs. Ideally I would like at least 2 dogs, and the Colosseum.
My idea is to have the profile of two dogs, one in front of the other, with the bigger dog's paw on the Colosseum (please see attached picture) Please DO NOT just copy and paste the picture I provided. This was a cut and paste job I did very quickly and badly and that is why I need you! The dogs should be looking up like they are posing for a photo. The name 'Cani Romani' also needs to be incorporated into the design somehow.
I would like a balance between playful and professional. To start I would like black and white, with the possibility to change to color down the line.
