Heavy Equipment Service Technician

F&W Equipment Corp. is a family owned industry leader that’s been supplying construction equipment, tractors and landscaping gear to Southern Connecticut for the past 81 years. Located on Route 1 in Orange, we help home builders, site excavators, road builders, municipalities, landscapers, home owners and many more. We believe we can make work fun and easy by supplying new and used equipment, equipment rentals, service, parts and advice. Our fast paced service department is ready to expand! We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Service Technician, Experience Required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL:

· Must have a valid driver’s license.

· Must be reliable, hard working and have a professional work ethic.

· Must own tools and have the ability to work independently.

· Must have the ability to lift, push, pull 70+ pounds, climb heavy. equipment safely, bend and kneel.

· Must be able to perform basic equipment service: ie: filters, oils, inspections.

· Must possess a willingness to learn and grow.

· Must provide own tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

· Perform scheduled services on heavy equipment and tractors.

· Perform final assembly of tractors.

· Perform body work on equipment.

· Perform minor welding on equipment and tractors.

· Keep work space clean of all debris.
