Resumen de Diseño de Camiseta

Heavy Metal is a brand new company, specializing in firearms and accessories, but one that already has a word-of-mouth following that is building everyday. We don't even have a site up yet, but business is already happening!
What I'm looking for here will end up being the basis of everything, and will ultimately be the "mascot" for Heavy Metal. What I have in mind is this:
Think ZeroFoxtrot tshirts meets Iron Maiden's Eddie! Obviously, the skull design is VERY popular within this particular audience, and I'd like to take advantage of that. To give things a different twist, I was thinking of a skull wearing an M1938 Tank Driver's helmet and goggles from WWII. Goggles up or down, doesn't matter as long as the design really carries that "attitude" look like you'd find from an Iron Maiden cover or from one of Zero Foxtrot's tshirt designs.
As far as design for the business name, I'm looking for your expertise. Feel free to use Heavy Metal Ordnance (which is actually the LLC name), Heavy Metal Firearms, or just Heavy Metal.
This design would go big on the back of the shirt.
On the front, I was thinking small, left-chest. Simple logo, similar to the logo used by the 82nd Airborne, the "double A". Rather than their "A"s over a circle pattern, I was thinking more like a shield shape with "HM", with the H and M ends stretching to run the contours of the shield.
If you feel like it, it might even be cool to toss that same logo on the front center of the skull's helmet to tie the two together. Some WWII helmets did actually have logos on the front.
I've included a couple of pics that might help, but again, I'm no artist. All I'm looking to do hopefully inspire the perfect design!
Knock me out with this one! It's going to end up everywhere, with these tshirts going all over the country, and the skull design ultimately being the mascot for the business!
