This is just to say a massive 'thank you' to everyone who submitted designs for our logo competition.

We really enjoyed going through them all and it was a difficult task to rate and shortlist our favourite designs. We did though arrive at a winning design in the end and we look forward to working with that designer to conclude the project.

As feedback for everyone who missed out (and there were some very good designs that we really did like that made it all the way though to the very short list), the winning design was a step away from the ideas that many designers had submitted - using a different colour from our earlier logo and encompassing the idea of an overarching holding company, but without doing so by using a roof (& chimney) graphic that many designers used (chimneys go with fires & boilers and burning stuff is neither clean nor in line with our sustainable clean economy mission!)

Additionally the winning design gave equal weight to every word of our company name rather than highlighting any particular word or pair of words. A small thing, but still useful feedback (I hope).

Finally, this has been our first time with DesignCrowd and we really enjoyed the process. Thanks again to everyone who submitted designs and good luck with your next projects. We wish you all a peaceful and enjoyable journey wherever you are headed... : )
