Of the designs so far, we like the following:
1) distinction between company name and graphic - otherwise, the company name is hard to read. Don't put the graphic part of the logo in the company name in place of the "O"
2) some combination of gears/sun looks good. Some graphics are too busy and literal
3) retro fonts are good - mustard yellow+ grey or steel blue look good
4) Combinations of words sprocket + power won't work - they will be difficult to use in power points, business cards, etc and hard to read
