Resumen de Diseño de Logo

General information:

• The company name is 1SPEC (stands for 1 Stop Performance Engine Castings). A little background on the company to help in your design ideas....we are a company that deals exclusively with (as the name infers) performance automotive engine castings and components. We design, engineer, and develop internal engine components for primarily US domestic V8 applications. We do all of this in house which allows the customers ideas and thoughts to come to fruition with 1 phone call!

What we are looking for in a logo is the following:

• We are really striving for brand recognition. We would like to have a simple design that would include a symbol created from the number 1 and the letters SPEC. We would also like the ability to easily take the symbol that is created from the number 1 in our logo above and use it as a stand alone symbol. Eventually we would plan on having this stand alone 1 be our main brand recognition so we would like a unique design on the number "1".

• We will be pushing the "MADE IN THE USA" theme throughout our marketing campaign so we would like to incorporate the colors red, white, and blue within our color version of our logo.

• We would like a logo that would be visually appealing in black & white & grey scale as well as the red, white, and blue color version.

• We would like it to be easily seen and recognizable from a distance (for instance on a banner at shows I would like it to be recognized at a glance from a distance.)

• On the other hand we also want to put this logo on all of our components. Some of the components will be small, thus we would like for the logo to retain its detail when put on some of our smaller parts.

• We would like the logo to have a high end feel, quality, and appearance that customers would associate with the "finer things in life". This is something that our customers have come to expect with anything associated with the high end racing products that we will be marketing. We would like our logo to represent our products in the same fashion......when a customer looks at our logo we want them to immediately have a feeling as if they are purchasing the absolute highest quality product that is available on the market today! We would like to build a culture with our marketing (including our logo) something similar to what you would think of as a Porsche, Ferrari, or Lamborghini following or possibly someone that is purchasing an exclusive or expensive watch or piece of jewelry. I have seen many logos that have what I would describe as a "cartoonish" feeling.....that is not what we are after.

• I have included some sample logos (attached) that we like in order to portray our vision of what we are ultimately looking for in a logo. They all have the attributes listed above. All of them are what I would consider a symbol developed from the letters of the companies names, they are all simple in design but yet have an upscale high quality technical feel to them, they all look good in color or black & white, and they are all easily recognizable from a distance. All of the sample logos could demonstrate the same qualities......they would look good in solid colors (or cast into a product) as well as with 3D shaded effects they would look extremely high end for print and web ads. The Aeromotive, Oakley, and Mopar are all examples of solid logos that could have a 3D shaded effect added for print ads and the Velduras logos represent what the 3D version would look like (and you can imagine being able to make the velduras logo back into a solid single color for black and white ads or for casting into a product. I have also added the Velduras corporate ID package with letter head and envelope examples......I really like the entire concept of this brand!

We have made every effort to produce a flawless product line and spent countless hours perfecting every aspect of the components we make, and we want nothing less from the logo that will define our products.
