We would like someone to help design a study image/logo for use across several community-based research projects. These projects are led by a diverse partnership of researchers, community members, and local business owners invested in improving health, reducing disparities, and promoting social justice.
The logo is specifically for the CREATE team. CREATE stands for Collaborative Research to facilitate Equity, Action, Trust, and Engagement. Our team has a particular focus on conducting research with and for people of African descent.
Our research projects are interdisciplinary in nature and integrate behavioral and public health sciences to understand the effects of race, gender, and class on health behaviors and outcomes to affect socio-structural change.
We plan to use the logo for letterhead, websites, study recruitment materials (e.g., postcards, flyers), and potentially t-shirts.
We would like the logo to be something lively and fun rather than serious and academic.
