We need a logo for our business which specializes in creating new technology and manufacturing equipment for use in innovative new branches of aquaculture like seaweed cultivation.
Our company is a marriage of engineering and aquaculture, with a common focus on innovation and creativity. We are part of the blue economy, which is associated with vitality, freshness and large marine production systems.
We design mooring systems for underwater installations in which to grow seaweed, with innovative seeding and harvesting methods.

Thanks for all the lovely motives, we do appreciate how talented and creative all of you are. We just want to update you on that we are an engineering company AND aquaculture company, but we do not cater to fish farming. We are focused on alternative aquaculture such as seaweed, and we offer technical solutions for cultivation and production of those species. We need our logo to express our ability to innovate and be a technology leader in the next generation of the blue economy, and not be associated with anything fishy :)
A lot the the suggestions here are on the right track, but I would prefer the suggestions to have less detail, it tends to clutter up the art. We don't yet have any preference with regards to the expression, it can be stylistic or artistic, but we do prefer the logo to have less clutter.
Thanks to everyone so far, we will be watching this space with anticipation.
