Ricochet is a global peer-to-peer communication framework that is built around long range mesh wireless networking technologies. The company is introducing a new product called PiNG, a pocket-sized mobile communication device with a touch screen display, dual LoRa long range wireless, GPS, and an extended life rechargeable LiPo battery.

PiNG is designed to facilitate uncensored, P2P, end-to-end encrypted instant messaging and blockchain transactions. It does not require a centralized mobile telephony network to operate and is intended to be disruptive in its ability to provide secure and anonymous communication capabilities beyond the reach of government interception, censorship or monitoring. Ricochet was launched in direct response to Apple's decision to simply cancel worldwide Airdrop support in iOS 16.2, as it was being used by protestors to communicate in China after the CCP disabled 5G communications, so an edgy and aggressive approach to the website would be great.

Ricochet is supported by a worldwide network of community sponsors who use PiNG devices to facilitate private communications while earning the DEFY crypto token via mining. These tokens are awarded to Ricochet network operators who provide Internet exit node services for the global Ricochet mesh wireless network.

We are looking to hire a developer to design a website for Ricochet. The website should have an "8-bit" or "Minecraft" aesthetic, similar to what Nothing did with their website (https://us.nothing.tech). Developers with experience using Jekyll and delivering via Github Pages and a CDN are preferred.

The project will involve designing and building a website for Ricochet that accurately reflects the company's mission and products. It should be visually appealing and easy to navigate, with an "8-bit" or "Minecraft" aesthetic. Think 80's retro video games, Galaga and Pac Man and all that. The website should be optimized for delivery via Github Pages and a CDN.

In terms of product and flow, the name of the company/project is Ricochet; the device we are launching is PiNG; and we will be minting the cryptocurrency DEFY. Artwork for Ricochet and PiNG attached. The website probably closest to the flow of what we are looking for is https://flipperzero.one.
