Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are seeking a logo for our wedding: the bride is Somm and the groom is Knight. We first got along when we played chess together so it would be great to incorporate elements of chess into the design. We have been together for a long time and want the logo to symbolize our wisdom, devotion, and longevity. We are open to suggestions for representing these qualities through plants, animals, or mythical creatures.

The logo should feature the letters S and K in a modern and subtle way. We would like the design to work in a shirt-friendly color and shiny gold, with a preference for bright orange if a monochrome option is possible.

When viewed from afar, the S and K should be visible in the design. Upon closer inspection, there should be additional features and subtle incorporations of other objects. We have attached an example of a wedding logo from last year that incorporated the city where the proposal took place (Queenstown, New Zealand, where the snowy mountain can be seen as letter A that represents Annie and reflection of the mountain can be seen as V which represents Vinson).

Our audience for the wedding will be families with Chinese and Thai backgrounds, as well as young Australian adults, who consider themselves upper middle class. The design should be easily recognizable as a wedding logo and should have the letters S and K and elements of chess. If possible, we would like to have the option to incorporate our names into the design as well. Upon closer inspection, the design should reveal additional details that will be appreciated by the audience
