Need to revise brochure design as our organization has changed focus for services and clients, while retaining overall company identity.
Attaching PDF of previous brochure and outline of CareerEcologia curriculum framework with icons we use for workbook, website, etc.
Chesapeake Career Consulting LLC, services schools, professional associations, and community members 6 states plus Washington DC as these represent the regional watershed surrounding our shared Chesapeake Bay. We seek to bridge curriculum to careers among our youth as well as support career transitions across varied disciplines and industry areas. Each team member is a seasoned professional, with over 20 years of expertise, integrating corporate, education, government and non-profit leadership, with sacred focus on emerging professions in "sustainability".
CAREER ECOLOGIA
4 phase process integrating entrepreneurship & leadership development to support service learning, internships, cooperative education and/ professionals dealing with changing work/ life balancing situations. Particular emphasis on emerging professions with interdisciplinary issues related to sustainable development, as we think globally, act locally!
CHESAPEAKE HORIZONS
Environmental Literacy: - School & Community Gardens! Customized, hands-on, experiential learning workshops led by UMD Master Gardener delivering "Grow it/ Eat it" curriculum. Students learn ecosystem components vital to growing our food, with relationship to land, water and wildlife and "Bay Wise" conservation of our shared Chesapeake Bay home.
Service Learning - Next Generation Professionals are Rising! We offer customized workshops to empower our youth, as they bring creative innovation to community projects, while fulfilling curriculum requirements for service learning and internships that build professional skills. Applying the CareerEcologia framework, students develop individualized profiles, practice communication skills, design projects in collaboration with partners in the community who may serve as mentors. Adapting to varied learning styles or interests, students may share stories of accomplishment through creative media including videos, written articles, podcast interviews or exhibited posters. Students will have opportunity to develop professional resumes, online portfolios and/or have their accomplishments featured in our CareerEcologia Community Blog!
C3 - Curriculum, Community, Careers
Workshops in person and/or Webinars are customized for varied curricular disciplines to explore how these are applied in contemporary professions. Thinking Globally, Acting Locally, participants explore how organizations and communities are dealing with intersecting issues of Environment, Economy and Equity (3 E's) within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals. Students and Professionals have opportunity to be featured in our Talent Gallery to elevate their accomplishments and network with employers seeking talent!
