We guide behavior journeys with world-class, evidence-informed care to help people and pets achieve their full potential, while educating the world and inspiring compassion and respect for all living beings.

One on One/Caregivers: Dedicated, kind, empathetic, curious, collaborative, affluent animal caregivers who are interested in changing, investing, and learning more about animal behavior.
Professionals: Dedicated, kind, empathetic, curious, passionate, collaborative, open-minded trainers, veterinarians, and other professionals who are seeking professional development.
Unique Selling Proposition (USP):
Collaborative, gracious, kind, compassion, creativity, flexibility, experience, access to a neuroscientist, behavior analysts, veterinary behaviorists, and other experienced behavior consultants.
Customized to fit the individual needs of the caregiver and the animal and helps make challenging situations more enjoyable.

Motivation to Start the Business:
A drive to keep families together, when it’s safe to do so.
Teach people how to safely interact with animals.
Help people learn about themselves and their relationships through building relationships with animals.
Problem/Need in the Market:
Behavioral problems are a major cause of abandonment, euthanasia, and surrender for companion animals. Many people end up in this situation due to unrealistic expectations, misunderstandings about normal animal behavior, and/or because their pet is complicated medically and behaviorally they feel like they have no other options.
Animal behavior problems are best treated along with a knowledgeable, positive, multi-disciplinary team.

Dr. C’s Story
Behavior Vets was founded with a passion for keeping families together and promoting kindness in animal behavior care. The story behind the creation of the company dates back to when the founder, Dr. Christensen, was just 6 years old. At that time, her first dog was rehomed due to behavioral problems, and this experience left a lasting impact. She was determined to help families stay together and keep them safe by becoming a vet behaviorist.
Over time, Dr. Christensen's vision expanded to include a team of trainers, human social workers, and therapists who could provide empathetic, curious, and compassionate care to animals and their families. She believed that by understanding the complexities of the relationships with animals, we can deepen our understanding of human relationships.
Behavior Vets has evolved into a resource for families to feel safer and get the help they need, providing education to the public about how to improve their relationships with animals. Dr. Christensen's goal is to create a world where families can enjoy the companionship of their pets without fear or stress. Through her approach, she promotes a kind and compassionate relationship between animals and their humans.
Behavior Vets continues to grow, with a team of highly trained professionals who are committed to providing the best care possible. The company remains dedicated to keeping families together when possible and promoting kindness in all aspects of animal behavior care.
