Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I'm a physician building a business and brand centered around education and empowerment. I want to empower patients to take responsibility back for their own health, and non-specialist providers to take responsibility in helping manage a very common and life-threatening problem through compassionate, humorous and high-level education. The art I've included is a winged lioness--there is a saying that the ideal surgeon has the eyes of an eagle, the heart of a lion, and the hands of a woman. This art is also calligraphy, but I'm not sure whether all the line work will scale well so I invite the designers to keep OR SIMPLIFY the imagery as needed to find something that still evokes the power, elegance and freedom of the original piece but would work in both small (eg business cards or embroidery on scrubs) or large (signage) formats. Would like a version with and without my name/credentials if possible. I do love a good typographic effect as well, with interesting juxtaposition of letters/words, varied weights, geometric elements, etc.
