Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are starting a new high school ice hockey team in Sarasota, Florida, USA. The team will be called the Ice Rays, ice referring to the ice our sport is played on and and rays referring to the devil ray species that can be found in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico where we live. The logo will be used on two ice hockey jerseys (sweaters as they are called in the hockey world), one black and one white. The primary color we want for the logo and lettering is royal blue small amounts of other colors are welcome as the designers see fit. Ice hockey is a rough sport so we want something that looks tough and fierce, that brings to mind a formidable opponent. We are eager to see original ideas but have included a sketch one of our players drew as well as some photos of devil rays for reference. One parent suggestion was to make the tail a hockey stick. We welcome both original ideas or interpretations of these. We want this to be a logo high schoolers are proud to wear, something tough looking that ties ice hockey to a devil ray. It must have a devil ray in the logo as well as something that ties it to ice hockey - ice, a hockey stick, a puck, a net, etc.
