Resumen de Diseño Web

I need a new homepage designed for a company based in California. The homepage is simple.
The website is HelpaReporterSource.com.

About us:
We are a platform that connects reporters to expert sources (normal people with specific expertise) so a reporter can quickly and easily source information for their news story. Also, the source gets cited in their major news article so it's a win-win situation.

Design:
We have no real slogan except maybe the slogan on the website (beautiful stories that connect us), though that can change too.

I would like to see designs of any style that you choose. We really only have one website color shown in blue on the website, you can use other colors in addition to that one or even change the theme color.

Attachments:
- Homepage to redesign, which you can go to the website yourself to check it out
- A mockup sketch of a revision idea that I had in mind with two people thinking short thoughts. Though this is just a random thought.... You can make anything you want! :)
- An image of what the logged in dashboard looks like just if you want a reference

The footer menu links will remain but can be anything color/style.

Make any ideas you want, keep the same amount of sections or add more, add any graphics or things that you want, etc. I want creativity to really attract customers the second they land on the page. A powerfully beautiful home page!



For reference, some competing websites are HelpaReporter.com, Terkel.io, and qwoted.com
I noticed all these website use red/orange related colors, so maybe I should change the color theme to that? Again, your decision :)
