I was interested in designing your flyer for you but just thought I'd let you know that it isn't standard practice for a professional designer to design in word or powerpoint as your design would be incredibly limited and probably won't look professionally done. Personally, as a graphic designer with over 20 years of experience I really dislike word and powerpoint.

My recommendation would be to let designers use professional, industry standard software, and then when you are happy with the design, create pdf's for print or your own use electronically. Then if you need any amendments in the future, it shouldn't take long for the chosen designer to do those for you so you would incur a minor cost... at least then you would have a great flyer, selling your services in the best possible way. I just received some great feedback in order to ensure I get the best flyer. It was recommended that I allow designers to use their professional, industry standard, software instead of Word or PowerPoint. I agree, as I want the best flyer I can get! So, feel free to use the software you are most comfortable with and which will give you (and me) the best looking design.

By the way, Melanie, are you planning to submit any designs for this project?
