Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are a bike shop called George's Cycles and we put on the annual Bogus Basin Hill Climb. It's a bicycle race from the bottom to the top of the local ski hill, about 16 miles. Some years we add a gravel ride up as well as the road climb. Our previous logo had a bit of a retro vibe that we liked but I want a logo we can use year after year, maybe with some color changes (like maybe we can the background color each year) or a way to add the year to it without having to involve reaching out to the designer. The race has been held since 1972 so it has a lot of longevity! You can go to bogusbasinhillclimb.com, which we just created last year to see the last logo, which we only used two years in two color variations. Before that, it changed every so often. I bought the bike shop 3 years ago and want consistency in the logo so want a permanent one.
