Project Brief
Objective:
Down Apparel is seeking a graphic designer to craft 10-15 unique layout templates that can be utilized across various social media platforms, primarily Instagram and Facebook. The layouts will be used for both Instagram posts and stories. The designs are intended to exhibit a consistent theme reflective of our brand identity. While we do not require any specific content such as text or photos to be embedded in the design, we do expect a design that aligns with our brand's color palette and theme.
Brand Aesthetic:
Our brand, Down Apparel, employs a modern interpretation of war themes, symbolizing the struggles and victories experienced on the journey to success. Our motto is "A Battleground For Winners", signifying the importance of the journey rather than the destination, similar to how brands like NIKE emphasize winning and success.
Color Scheme:
The designs should strictly adhere to our brand colors - Black, White, and Light Gray.
Theme:
The theme of the layout design should subtly reflect elements of war, battlefields, frontlines warriors, etc. However, it is crucial that these elements are not overly aggressive or gruesome. Our brand does not resonate with themes of blood, guts, or gore. Our brand is a streetwear brand mixed with athleisure, so the war vibe needs to be subtle and not overbearing.
Style:
The design elements should be minimalistic yet impactful. We're looking for a modern approach that conveys an aggressive look and feel without being overpowering.
Versatility:
The designs should be versatile enough to allow us to insert our photos, logos, and text later.
