Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I am after two complementary (but not necessarily perfectly matching) logos for:

- The Greater Ipswich Academy of Sport
- The Greater Ipswich Academy of the Arts

Both are new entities, so therefore don't have mascots etc. I've given some advice below about how to make a logo relevant to the area and maybe use an animal (but only for sport).

Both programs will be based at Bremer State High School, and complementary logos are sought to ensure that there is consistency between the sport and arts offerings.

I want something modern, bold and simple rather than overly detailed and complicated logos. The logos need to be able to print clearly on apparel and stand out. A nod to the local Ipswich area, Bremer, sport or the arts is welcome.

Stylised 'GI' for Greater Ipswich, GIAS etc. is also welcome. We're also open to stylised 'g' or 'i' if they make sense with other elements of the logo.

I've included some school logos in the brief. Please don't use mascots etc. on the arts logo.

If you want to add details of the area into your designs, here is some assistance:
- The Bremer River (which our school is named after) runs through the centre of Ipswich
- The platypus is found in the Bremer river - this might make a good mascot.
- The brushtail rock wallaby is the emblem for the city.'
