Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a logo for a company called "Yadkin Valley Rifleworks." It's a firearms company, but I don't want any firearms or elements of firearms in the logo. I have attached a crude idea of the "vision" I have for the logo. I'd like it to focus on a "ranch brand" style Y that forms or looks like a deer skull and has antlers on it. I'd like for it to look like, and be recognizable as a Y, but I also want it to look like and be recognizable as a deer skull with antlers. My preference will be for simplicity and clean lines over a complicated image. This is likely to engrave on metal and may have to be quite small. I am open to other innovative ideas, for the logo as well as long as it sticks with the same spirit: rugged, simple, clean lines, focus on the Y and maybe the V as well (for Yadkin Valley) and incorporate elements of deer or maybe an elk skull. An ideal image will be rugged and strong and look great engraved on metal, printed on a tshirt, or on a sign for my business. Please no guns or firearms in the logo itself, but you can add hunting-related elements.
