You are asking for a front and back cover plus spine.
I am an experienced book cover designer and am therefore aware that a book cover designer needs to know the page count to know how wide to make the spine.
This spine width may also be affected by the type of paper used. I can design it for approximate width and adjust once we have this information. But best if I have it up front.
Can you offer at least an approximate total page count for your novel, and has KDP offered you information on the grade of paper for the text pages?

Hello Warren. Excellent point. I am after a paperback cover which is KDP-ready.
The trim size should be 5 x 8 inches. The page count will be circa-300 making the spine width 1 inch. Thanks a million for your question. Kind regards Mike

1. Do you say the blue letters go on top of a yellow background? That yellow background is as if it were a square under the letters. I say this because there is an image of the road with the shadow of the pilgrim that you sent. Would that photo be yellow?
2. The photo you send of the road is the one to use or another one can be used.

Hello. Yes the title of the book should be in blue letters on top of a yellow background.
The photograph supplied may be used but I leave it up to the designer if he/she has a better idea. Good luck.
