Resumen de Diseño de Logo

CaliGolf Instruction is a new company that is taking over and re-branding a previously successful brand called Southern California Golf Academy. As you can see the new name hints towards referencing California. The previous logo uploaded in the file and its design is something I want to move away from, but I put it in as an example, because I believe a lot of designers would move in the direction of the previous logo. I'm good with hinting to California, but I may want to expand this brand outside of California, which is why I spelled it as one word "CaliGolf" because outside of California, it just sounds like a catchy name and folks may not related to California inside of California and hints to the previous branding which is helpful during our ownership transition.

I had a few ideas of maybe using cursive writing, or possibly referencing the California bear that you see on a lot of logos from the state having a black bear similar to UCLA's logo an idea like that. Outside of that, I'm pretty open. I want it to be a relatively clean logo, minimalist, and its approach, but would like the designers to get creative, and maybe spur some new ideas, as I am not a designer, and would like to your expertise.

****NEW NOTE: in the Golf industry the traditional golf symbols like: outline of a golfer, golf club or golf ball in logos is way over saturated. Please try to avoid traditional Golf looks, I'm not totally opposed to traditional Golf looks but make it very subtle.

CaliGolf is an outdoor golf instructional facility where we specialize and give him one on one private golf lessons through our outstanding individual Golf Instructor's. We are located in Carlsbad, California and beautiful San Diego. The thought behind the design colors are that they represent a nice day playing golf, as you can see, though the previous logo I uploaded the files has a sun and I would like to avoid similarities to the previous logo.

Lastly, I added a logo I made on ChatGPT it's not really what I'm looking for, but may give you a small sense of some thing I thought had some interesting elements, but not something I'm totally sold on. I didn't think the cursive looked interesting.
