Resumen de Diseño de Logo
We are looking for a clean but powerful corporate logo for an US based energy company. We will operate primarily in the Western US, where a native american tribe called the Lakota ruled before the arrival of Europeans.
In Lakota Sioux mythology, Cetan is the name of a hawk spirit associated with the east and the qualities of speed, dedication and good vision.
Per native american mythology: "The hawk is a messenger bird. Usually when we see a hawk it means to pay attention because a message is coming to you. Hawks represent clear sightedness, being observant, our far memory and guardianship. They also bring courage, wisdom, illumination, creativity and truth. Hawks give us the ability to see the larger picture in life. They can help you to overcome problems and make wise use of opportunities."
The final logo should communicate professionalism, wisdom and guardianship. Although I don't want to bias any design professionals responding to this, one idea I have is to use a hawk feather as an accent mark above the letter "a" in CETÁN as part of the logo design. This is just one of many ways the logo could be communicated. (For some reason the web forms on Design Crowd change to location of the accent mark in Cetan when I submit the text. I've uploaded a pdf file so designers can see where the accent mark should be placed in the logo. Keep in mind...the accent mark is not a critical element of the logo, but if used it should be in the correct location)

There is a place where you can see on the upper left where the logo will go. Also, it would be nice if the logo could be adapted to include a "faded/desaturated" element that would go behind the text on the white portion of the website.
Actualizaciones
Cetan just made this project non refunable (I thought I had done it when I first submitted the competition. We will also need business cards, stationary, powerpoint templates, web design/graphics, after we select the logo. Thanks for your consideration, creativity and work.
