Is it really necessary to use "the seasons" font?

Hi ,
(1) You state the book cover size as 8.5 x 11" - Is this the actual front cover size?
or are the front and back covers 5.5 x 8.5" each (totalling 8.5 x 11" ) (plus spine width of course).
(2) The 'Seasons' font is a copyrighted font which you will have to pay a licence for as it is not for personal projects.
There are other fonts very similar which are free to use, which do you prefer?

Hi, 8.5x11 is a standard book size, it is not the front + back cover. If you are familiar with kdp covers, you should know exactly the cover template size based on my information provided. I have a canva pro font so I can use this font. Also this font is only for book title, you are free to use other fonts for the rest text lines.
