Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a logo for a new company specializing on providing skills trainings and insights for consumer goods industry. The company is based in Sydney, Australia, and is called 'FMCG Playbook' (FMCG stands for Fast Moving Consumer Goods').

Core product and servicing offerings are:
1. Negotiation and Sales trainings for suppliers and buyers within the consumer goods industry and grocery retail / supermarkets.
2. Regular industry insights reports.

The logo should reflect the deep specialization/expertise, and have a retro feel. Company's name can be written either separately - 'FMCG Playbook', or together 'fmcgplaybook'. I'm also not strict on either capital or small letters. Whatever will look and feel best. I have added for your inspiration few images and a suggested color palette.

One of the ideas, is to incorporate into the logo a mascot - platypus - that will later on be used in reports, communication, and all promo and educational materials. I have attached an AI-generated version of the mascot for your inspiration, too. Goes without saying that your logo should not be AI-generated, but, please, take an inspiration from the image.

I struggle to envision exactly how the mascot should be incorporated into the logo (hence, I need you and your creative skills to help me with that :)). Equally, I'm not certain if the mascot should even be a part of the logo, or can be added to promotional/communication materials, while logo will be simply the company's name. I will leave that to you to play with and see what makes more sense.

If the mascot is included in the logo, I think it should be placed in the grocery store environment, holding a book under a pit, or holding it in front of him (the book is a play on the second part of the company's name - 'playbook'). Again, have no clue how to do this, but hopefully you'll have few ideas. Please, make sure that mascot's sweater, tie, glasses and any other accessories, as well as the book, are all in suggested color palette. Also, in AI-generated pictures, platypus looks close to how I envisioned it, but doesn't have a tail, and also doesn't have realistic feet. If you were to include the mascot into the logo, please make sure that feet and tail reflect the real platypus.

If you choose to draw the logo without platypus, please create the platypus in the grocery store environment with transparent background, so that I could use it in some comms materials (e.g., LinkedIn company's page banner).

And if you wonder why platypus - well, the only relevant reason is that platypus only live in Australia, and the company is Australian. :) Other than that, I just tried to envision some cute mascot that can help the company to stand out in otherwise bland, serious, and very corporate look of all the agencies and consultancies working in consumer goods industry.

Hopefully, that would be enough for you to start working on the project, and if there will be more questions, I'll be happy to respond.

Finally, I will commit the budget, so that you could feel confident that the best design will definitely get paid. But I'm not in a rush and will take time to assess the contenders and choose the winning design. So, please, don't rush submitting your proposals. It's a very specific brief, so if you rush to submit your work, I can almost guarantee that it will be subpar. Also, please, don't waste your and my time submitting AI-generated logos. If I wanted a cookie-cutter logo, I would do it myself. :)
