About Great-Lion
Great-Lion is a Dutch brand that develops high-quality cleaning and maintenance products for car, motorcycle, and truck enthusiasts. Think wheel cleaners, interior detailers, detailing sprays, and more. Our customers are both passionate consumers and professionals who choose products for their performance, effectiveness, and bold appearance.

Goal of This Contest
We are looking for a new label design for our product Bleeding Wheel Cleaner, but this is only the beginning.
Important: The design you create for this label will serve as the foundation for a completely new visual brand identity.
This new style will later be rolled out across:
• All of our other cleaning products (e.g. glass cleaner, interior cleaner, snow foam, etc.)
• Packaging such as boxes, hang tags, and retail displays
• Possibly even broader branding and promotional materials
We are looking for a strong, scalable visual concept that works across various product types and packaging formats.

What We’re Looking for in the New Design
Style & Look & Feel
• Modern
• Clean / minimalistic
• Premium / bold
• No clichés or childish visuals
• Visually impactful but not loud or tacky
• Appealing to a male audience (automotive enthusiasts)
Brand Identity Integration
• Brand name: Great-Lion
• Subtle use of the lion theme:
o Ideas: lion head silhouette, mane contours, claw scratch textures, etc.
o No cartoonish elements, no overkill – keep it stylish and powerful
o You are free to interpret the “lion power” concept creatively

Product Recognition
Since this design will be used across many products, each product type must be instantly recognizable:
• Users should immediately see what kind of product it is (e.g., wheel cleaner, glass cleaner, etc.)
• Possible solutions:
o Icon or small illustration (e.g., wheels for wheel cleaner)
o Color coding per product category
• The system should be scalable and repeatable for the entire product line

USP / Brand Story Block
We’d like a short text block on the label that shares who we are and what we stand for.
Example (for inspiration – you may improve or rework it visually):
“Great-Lion develops powerful and reliable vehicle care products. Built for enthusiasts, tested by professionals. Our products combine top performance with a bold appearance – made with care for quality and the environment.”
Leave space for this block – visually attractive and easy to read.
Feel free to support USPs with small custom icons for a modern, clean look.
Also note:
The "Power Gel" stamp currently on the label and the USPs in the blue box can be redesigned to look more refined and contemporary – make them part of a cohesive, stylish system.

• We’re open to a subtle modernization of the logo and/or font used
• It must still be recognizable to existing customers
• Not required, but we welcome creative ideas

Colors: Please see our downloadable reference design. (Dark blue, blue, grey, dark grey, silver). also you can use the color of the product it self as a reference. For example our wheel cleaner is Green, Our Power cleaner Orange, Our Glass cleaner Blue. The label need to be used with the product colors.

Final Notes
We’re looking for a bold, stylish, and future-proof design concept that:
• Can be applied across our full product line
• Stands out both on shelves and online
• Strengthens our brand identity visually
Start with the design for Bleeding Wheel Cleaner, keeping in mind that this will set the tone for all Great-Lion products.
Surprise us – but keep it clean, modern, and powerful.
