Resumen de Diseño de Logo
We are a small firm specializing in providing direction, guidance and support to architects in the field of Building Information Modelling utilizing 3D software called REVIT.
We need a new logo which can communicate our "Raison d'être" is to provide seamless and discrete support to our Architect Clients. You could accurately describe us as being "ghost writers" for the Architecture industry. I'd like the logo to reflect that.
Initial thoughts are that there is some Hierarchy in the "Arch" and the "Assist" elements of the name. Fine, or thin text is preferable - to further communicate the discretion with which we operate. Minimalist please, no curly-swirly type face. The web site will be very neutral in its palette. If you can help with the design of that I'd love to see examples.

Type Face
The name needs to be able to stand on its own without the Motif. To reinforce this can we look at including the key values of direction, guidance, support. in and under the company name.
Symbol
If we are to use a symbol it needs to be meaningful 'and' abstract.. descriptive s I might use would be.
supportive - could translate as a shape that looks like its supporting something- our clients.
creative - to show a level of exploratory flair - risk taking
organic -showing movement or development- ability to handle challenges and changes
expressive - an aspirational reaching out and by extension striving (for excellence)
underlying geometric order - even our most demanding designs have an underlying ordering device

Hi Everyone
I have decided that the business card will be without any colour. i.e. the logo and company name will be embossed onto the card and a clear glossy foil applied to accentuate an otherwise featureless card.
The card will be of a very pure white and the "Arch" in Arch Assist will be positively embossed and the Assist will be negatively embossed. Treatments for the logo is up to you guys but, again, no colour.
Greys and charcoals will be used for details. I'm even OK with light warm or cool whites for text.
Subtlety is the key=elegance.
I know this is a tough brief - I'm a designer too so my stationary has to look the part.
