Home and Design Studio (HDS) — premium, modern design-build & Resource center for homeowners; workshops + high-quality materials (stone, tile, cabinetry). custom build design and home improvement center.

Look & Feel
Minimal, architectural, calm, trustworthy, upscale yet approachable. Avoid literal house/hammer icons. think artistic and architectural. NOTE: I am attaching two example logos that can give you some directions. Also I am attaching the excising company logo. the fact that we are changing the logo indicates that we do not need typical contractor LLC logo. we need elevated and thoughtful logo that will help our branding.

Logo Style

Monogram + wordmark system.

Explore H-D-S interlock with a soft S-curve (stone vein / flow).

Clean geometry; print/etch friendly; works in 1 color.

Typography
Elegant serif + sans pairing (e.g., Editorial/Tiempos + Inter/Neue Haas). Tight, architectural kerning. Subtle ligatures OK.

Color Direction (not dark-only)
Primary palette should work on light backgrounds:

Light neutrals (warm white/putty).

Mid gray for text/lines.

One refined accent: brass, desaturated green, or muted blue (designer to propose 2–3 options).
All lockups must also work in pure black and pure white.
