Tumbledown® Brand is seeking fresh creative concepts — both variations of our core logo and new merchandise design ideas — that expand on our visual identity while staying true to our Maine roots and outdoor spirit.
About the Brand
Inspired by Tumbledown Mountain in Franklin County, Maine — the most popular day hike in Western Maine overlooking Webb Lake — Tumbledown® Brand represents a love for Maine’s natural beauty, quiet strength, and sense of freedom.

Our products are for those who feel at home in a Maine Cabin, on the trail, by the lake, by a campfire under the stars…. By purchasing Tumbledown® apparel and gear, customers help fund needs-based summer camp scholarships for kids — passing along the joy of Maine’s outdoors to the next generation.
Design Direction
We’re looking for artwork and logo explorations that reflect:
• Maine’s outdoor character — mountains, lakes, forests, wildlife
• Adventure and exploration — hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, fishing
• Summer camp spirit — activities, fun, friendship, campfires, camaraderie
• Authentic Maine vibe — rugged yet simple, organic, and timeless
• Wildlife – Moose, Eagles, Black Bear, Deer
Creative Approach
Designs should feel natural, authentic, and outdoor-driven, not overly polished or corporate. Think vintage adventure, heritage outdoor, or modern rustic.
Applications
Concepts should work across apparel and lifestyle products such as:
• Hats and tees
• Hoodies and sweatshirts (front or back or both – same w/Tees)
• Stickers and patches
• Water bottles, mugs, and totes

What We’d Love to See:
• Alternative takes on the Tumbledown® logo (simplified, patch-style, hand-drawn, or any creativity that inspires a reaction > like COOL!)
• Iconography or illustrations that capture the soul of Maine
• Typography that feels classic New England meets outdoor adventure
