Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Seeking logo for an eventual adventure tourism company and social media channels which will provide hiking and immersive cultural experiences along the Stikine River canyons and the surrounding area, which is Canada's Grand Canyon and home to iconic wildlife species including Grizzly, Mountain Goat, Caribou, Stones Sheep, Moose, Elk, Eagles and other species of salmon, birds and fur bearing mammals.

The headwaters of the Stikine and vast majority of the its canyons run through Tahltan Territory, which is the Indigenous group of the area. I am a Tahltan member and many of the company's future immersive cultural experiences and social media content will showcase my Tahltan culture, children and community members.

Common imagery to pay homage to the Tahltan people include obsidian arrowhead(s), the shape of Tahltan Territory, sewing imagery often coupled with their distinct abstract shapes (examples shown in attached files) and mountains. It would be nice to work some of these aspects into the final design, but I recognize that capturing everything may make the logo too busy. Using the territory shape may be confusing and unnecessary, and I can always incorporate that into other designs later.

The largest Mountain Goats in the world are from the Stikine River canyons, and the clients who hike and experience the area are guaranteed to see such goats along the Stikine canyons. Therefore, if there was one animal who should be the ambassador or symbol of the company, it should be the Mountain Goat. On the other hand, many clients may get more excited about the prospect of seeing Grizzly Bears, and given the fact that we use the term "Kingdom", it would be great to capture multiple animals without making the logo too busy. Perhaps a logo with imagery of a Mountain Goat, Grizzly Bear and an Eagle in the distance capture the "Kingdom" aspect, and also highlight the constant battle and beauty of the balance between Predators (ie. Grizzly) and their Prey (ie. Mountain Goats and other ungulates). Please be careful and utilize the proper shape of Mountain Goat bodies and horns, and the same goes for distinct Grizzly shapes with their hump etc. (see attached examples for reference)

The future business will likely include staying in larger canvas tents overlooking the Stikine, with daily hiking and storytelling opportunities, with options to partake in immersive cultural activities (ie. assisting local hunters or fishers with their harvests, berry/medicine picking, preparing small game etc.) with local Tahltan people. We will create a network of trails to expose clients to a plethora of different wildlife and environments, most of which will include a body of water which ultimately drains into the mighty Stikine River at some point.

As for colors, the Tahltan people normally identify with Red, Black, White, Gold and Forest Green (the Stikine River is often a medium green shade). However, I understand that some different color combinations may better suit an adventure/hiking tourism company, so the color scheme at this point is not a major concern of mine.
