I am looking to redesign the current logo for my café La French Affair.
I created the existing logo myself with limited tools, and now I want a professional, modern and eye-catching version that looks more commercial, more memorable, and more attractive to customers.

The new logo must feel French, artisanal, warm, elegant and instantly recognisable.

2. What the Café Offers

We are a French café with authentic French bakery products, including:

Fresh pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat, brioche)

Viennoiseries

French-inspired sandwiches

Pies & sausage rolls

Quality coffee

Small cakes, treats, and baked items


The logo should subtly communicate French bakery + coffee culture.

3. What I Want in the New Logo

✅ Core brand name

La French Affair
(with “Agnes Water” placed underneath)

✅ Logo Icon

I would like an icon placed above the name, inspired by my current concept, but redesigned to be more commercial, modern and visually appealing.
My inspiration for the icon:

A silhouette / shadow illustration of a French baker or a bakery scene

Something that subtly suggests pastries, bakery craft, coffee, croissants

Simple enough to be clean, elegant and instantly recognisable

Professional and balanced, not too busy

French / artisanal / slightly vintage but modernised

Warm, welcoming, elegant

A design that works well on:

Shopfront signage

Packaging

Merchandise (cups, bags)

Social media

Menus



🎨 Preferred Colours

I am open to different proposals, but I like warm and classy tones, for example:

Warm browns

Soft oranges

Pale greens

Black & white combinations
Designers can explore variations as long as the logo keeps a premium bakery feel.

5. Additional Notes

The new logo should feel more professional and more refined than my current version, while keeping the same general idea: La French Affair in the centre + an icon above it.

The goal is to create a visual identity that stands out in the market and immediately tells customers they can expect quality French bakery products.
