I am looking for a complete redesign. I opened my company a year ago and have had time to reflect and also get client input. Although I love the clean-ness and printability of my current logo, I just feel like something is missing. I also realize afterword i chose a company name with A LOT of text. It's definitely a regret of mine but the coporation and legal documents are already in place. So with my company name AND sometimes my slogan under it makes fora mouth full. Presentation/placement is obviously key.
I am about to do a large push into marketing online as well as brochures, pamphlets, documents and business cards for community events. I feel like I haven't "decided" or settled on a true image yet. I feel like I am missing some kind of symbolism or eye catch that makes me unique.
I do not want to limit the designers, as I have found more success in surprise ideas that I cannot picture myself. I want something that makes people feel comfortable or at home. Something that is down to earth and doesn't scream "production".
I DO NOT WANT a suit and tie type logo. Something that screams I am a lawyer or overly professional that belongs to some gigantic firm.
I do financial planning and meet people in their homes or places on comfort. I provide real, unbiased, trustworthy, honest and rock solid solutions. I truly care about the clients I choose to take on and I want that to come through somehow. Everything I build is custom and bottom up for them specifically.
Some additional info that may be valuable but I don't want it to limit the designer:
1. I am in very far Northern Manitoba Canada. Hence the NorthBuilt name.
2. Completely surrounded by boreal forest
3. It's cold 70% of the year
4. I serve all of Canada
5. I focus on the "small" everyday people that banks most ignore
If I have a preference of color scheme:
1. Forest green, charcoal, white/black (boreal colors)
2. A mid-tone trustworthy Blue color, charcoal, white/black. (I am told blue is the color of trust)
3. Open to anything if presented well.
I have uploaded my current logo but also some examples of some other logos that sort of catch my eye or that look unique in some way.
I am looking for my permanent image moving forward that will be on every single document that my clients receive for business.
