Battleground Chess is a modern, competitive online strategy game that evolves the core ideas of chess with tactical combat, multiple unit types, and battlefield objectives. It is played on a chess-like grid, but units have health, abilities, and ranged or melee attacks, creating deeper and more dynamic gameplay.
The game draws thematic inspiration from ancient mythology, beginning with Greek myth, but is presented in a grounded, serious, and strategic way — not cartoon fantasy. Visually, the brand should feel intelligent, premium, and competitive, appealing to chess players while signaling a bold evolution beyond traditional chess.
Avoid playful, cartoon, or high-fantasy styles.
Aim for timeless strategy, mythic weight, and modern esports polish.
Color Scheme: We are using the same color scheme for our website as seen on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey - https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/game/assassins-creed/odyssey

Goal is to create a logo that:
Has a distinctive icon that can be used by itself like as a favicon on a webpage tab.
Can be used with the full product name ‘Battleground Chess’
Can be used with the full product name and motto which currently is “Where Strategy Meets War” but may change in future.

Please do not use standard Chess pieces in your logo design as we do not use them in our game. Our game uses representations of warriors, warlords, monsters, etc.
