Modern Logo Design for JT’s Outdoor Fabrics (One-Stop Shop Brand)

We are looking for a modern, versatile logo design for JT’s Outdoor Fabrics, Canada’s one-stop shop for outdoor, marine, automotive, and upholstery projects.
For over 10 years, we have served both DIY makers and professional businesses, specializing in premium fabrics, clear vinyls, upholstery foams, sewing supplies, hardware, grommets, cords, adhesives, and tools. The new logo should reflect our growth while maintaining strong brand recognition.
Our customers range from DIY enthusiasts refreshing backyard furniture to marine professionals repairing boat enclosures, as well as upholstery shops and small businesses sourcing reliable, high-quality materials.
The main logo should feature “JT’s Outdoor Fabrics” fully written out. We would also like to see logo variations, including:
-A primary (full-text + icon) version
-A simplified version (icon + “JT’s”)
-An icon-only mark
Typography should be clean, bold, and sans-serif. Please avoid script or overly decorative styles.
Our current logo (attached) uses red, white, and black. While we are sharing it for brand recognition (SEE FILE ATTACHED), we do not want a simple redraw or polish. Please treat it as inspiration for an evolution, something familiar to our customers, but updated to feel modern, professional, and versatile.
We would like to retain red, white, and black as our core brand colors, with the option to introduce subtle accent colors (such as blue for marine or green for outdoors). The logo must look strong in both full color and black & white.
Instead of focusing on a single industry, we are looking for a universal symbol that represents JT’s Outdoor Fabrics as a one-stop shop across multiple industries — outdoor, marine, automotive, and upholstery.
The icon should feel rooted in textiles, but not limited to sewing or any one application.
These are suggested directions, but we welcome creative interpretation and are excited to see unique concepts that align with our brand:

-Clean, abstract geometric shapes
Please avoid:
-Overly literal or industry-specific icons
-Script or decorative fonts
-Busy, cluttered, or cartoonish styles

The final design should be scalable (effective for both large signage and small applications like tags), visually strong in both color and monochrome, and feel timeless rather than trendy.
Style: Clean, modern, and professional, adaptable across digital (website, social media, invoices) and physical applications (tags, packaging, embroidery).
