Hi!

We’re planning an upcoming outdoor, camp-themed event and are looking for a camper/ringer-style shirt design that captures that vibe in a fun, creative, and elevated way.

A little context about us—Discover DeKalb is a destination marketing organization for DeKalb County, Georgia. While camping isn’t a core focus of our destination, this event uses a “camp” theme as a creative concept for an outdoor experience. So we’d love a design that blends outdoor/camp aesthetics with the personality and culture of DeKalb County.

I’ve also run a few ideas through ChatGPT to help spark direction, so feel free to use that as inspiration—but we’re definitely looking for your creative interpretation.

Design Direction:

Front of shirt:
Small placement of our main “Discover DeKalb” logo (attached), ideally on the right chest
Open to a subtle/creative background element behind or around the logo to enhance the look
Back of shirt:
A larger, creative concept design that embodies DeKalb County, Georgia through a camp/outdoor lens
Think storytelling through design—nature, culture, community, etc.

Logo Usage:

Our primary logo (“Discover DeKalb”) should be the main identifier
I’ve also included our submark (“DKB”), but we do not want the design to feel overcrowded by using both prominently
If it fits naturally, we’re open to incorporating “DKB” in a subtle, creative way (for example, as a patch on a backpack, signage, or embedded within the artwork)
If it feels forced or chaotic, we’re completely fine not using the DKB mark at all

Overall, we’re looking for something that feels cool, wearable, and creative, while still representing DeKalb in a unique way.
