About the Brand
Bald Head Island Club is a private country club located on Bald Head Island, North Carolina. Our Facilities Maintenance team is responsible for maintaining all Club buildings, infrastructure, landscaping support, repairs, and construction projects that keep the property operating at the highest standard.

We are looking for a logo that represents craftsmanship, reliability, pride, and skilled trades—not demolition or danger.

Design Goal
Create a clean, timeless logo for the Bald Head Island Club Facilities Maintenance Department that can be embroidered on polos, hats, jackets, and uniforms as well as printed on vehicles, equipment, signage, and promotional items.

The logo should feel professional, strong, and recognizable without being overly busy.

What We Like

-Crossed hand tools (wrenches, hammer, shovel, screwdriver, etc.)
-Construction or maintenance imagery
-Hard hat
-Circular badge/emblem designs
-Old Baldy Lighthouse as a recognizable Bald Head Island landmark

What We Do NOT Want
-No skulls or "death" imagery.
-Avoid anything that feels aggressive, pirate-themed, or intimidating.
-Do not closely resemble our Grounds Crew logo—we want this department to have its own unique identity.
-Avoid overly detailed illustrations that won't embroider well.

-Old Baldy Lighthouse incorporated with crossed maintenance tools
**Lighthouse must be specifically Old Baldy Light House on Bald Head Island. See BHI Club Logos with lighthouses for example
-A hard hat combined with the lighthouse
-A maintenance worker silhouette or classic tradesman icon (without showing a specific person)
-Buildings or Club facilities paired with tools
-A modern badge or crest
-Clean geometric designs that symbolize maintenance, construction, and craftsmanship
