Logo Design Brief

Alfa Shirt and PAS Print are two established Belgian companies specialising in textile printing, embroidery and personalised clothing. The two companies are joining forces and will continue under one combined commercial identity: Alfa Shirt - PAS Print.

Both companies have an existing customer base and strong recognition in their respective markets. We have therefore deliberately decided to retain both names rather than create an entirely new brand name.

The challenge is to bring Alfa Shirt and PAS Print together into one strong, recognisable and coherent new visual identity. The result should clearly feel like one company and one brand, not like two existing logos simply placed together.

Important: the primary logo must be designed on two levels, with “Alfa Shirt” on the upper line and “PAS Print” on the line below.

We are looking for a professional, contemporary and strong identity that can remain relevant for many years. The logo will be used extensively on clothing and workwear, but also on buildings, vehicles, packaging, websites, social media, quotations and other business communication.

We are open to creative ideas regarding typography, symbol, colours and overall visual style. Designers should not feel obliged to reuse elements or the graphical style of either existing logo. The current Alfa Shirt and PAS logos are supplied as reference to show the history and existing identities of both companies.

A separate symbol or pictogram may be proposed, but it is not mandatory. If used, it should be distinctive enough to become recognisable on its own.

Please avoid obvious industry clichés such as T-shirts, clothes hangers, printing machines, ink splashes or similar generic symbols, unless they are used in a genuinely original and distinctive way.

The logo should also remain strong, recognisable and clearly readable in a single-colour version, as it will regularly be reproduced using textile printing and embroidery techniques.

Above all, we are looking for an identity that brings two established companies together and gives the combined business a strong new visual future without losing the recognition of the two names.
