Resumen de Diseño de Brochure

Mahaska Community Recreation Foundation (MCRF) is looking for a designer to freshen up and redesign our recreation trail map. Our original map is provided below as a starting point. We would like an updated, professional design that is visually appealing and easy for residents and visitors to read and navigate.

Design goals:

Create a fresh, clean layout with clear street names, landmarks, trail routes, and a simple legend.

Make the trail system easy to follow, with colors and symbols that are easy to distinguish.

Incorporate our Mahaska Community Recreation Foundation logo, provided below, and follow the included brand color and font information.

Keep the map geographically accurate while improving readability and overall appearance.

Map corrections:

Some street and highway labels need to be updated, including:

“K Ave E” near the high school should be “N. 3rd Street.”

“Hwy 22” should be “Hwy 23.”

We will provide any additional corrections during the design process.

Final files:

Please provide a high-resolution, print-ready PDF, a version suitable for our website and social media, and editable source files so we can update the map in the future.

We welcome creative ideas that make our trail map more inviting, useful, and consistent with MCRF’s branding!
