"Venturus" is not an italian word, but an ancient Latin one; the italian word for "next" or "upcoming" would be "venturo", although that's an old-fashioned term. Most commonly, "prossimo/a" or "a venire" are used.

I am really struggling to find a good name for my new venture that has some connotation of the future, sounds modern/progressive, and has a .com available. I might still change it, unfortunately, as people are having trouble pronouncing "Venturuz", with the z sounding as an s.

You're welcome; I appreciate the brand name effort, which is not easy to nudge out. "Venturuz" is indeed not that eye- or sound-catching, I think... what about "Ventourus" (venture/tour/adventurous)?
