Do you want the character swinging from the tree as in your example or two separate entitties?
I am also wondering snout what you mean regarding splitting the image between the top and bottom of a page.

Thats a good question. Initially the character swinging from the tree but it should be possible to use just the tree without the character and long term have the character in the lower right maybe doing something else. For now swinging would be be good :)

i have a good idea which i will work on presenting to you and perhaps it will shift your mindset regarding the child swinging from the tree :)
