I think you should simply delete the above excerpt, because it improves the chance of you receiving free advertising but hardly the likelihood of anyone creating a better logo. Should a designer be familiar with the product he's designing for? Yes, but not in this manner. If you need betatesters and advertising, you should run a separate contest or simply hire someone.

We''ve edited the brief.  The purpose is not to get beta testers.  We just want the logo designer to fully understand he site and its functionality.
