We need a redesign of our website. We are a corporate advisory business based in Sydney. Our focus is on the technology and life-science sectors. We assist our clients with capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

Our business is called "Growth Equity Partners"
Our current website is www.growthequity.com.au

I'd like to see a complete re-design of the site. (I'm happy to keep any of the existing images - but equally happy to scrap them completely and "start again".)

My preference is that the logo remain as it is. However, I would be very open to a re-colouring of the logo if it works better with a new webiste design.

The content of the website will remain the same. I'd like one additional section - "News" - which will allow us to manually post news items and which will pull in news feeds from current and past clients.

In terms of positioning / look-and-feel:

Our clients fall into two categories. I'd like the website to appeal to both:

1. The first category is: Executives from established technology or life-science companies (private or public), who engage us to assist with strategy, capital raising, corporate transactions.

2. The second category is: Entrepreneurs looking for advice in accessing angel funding or venture capital. The site should appeal to young tech-savvy entrepreneurs who are looking to engage a firm to provide such assistance.

To accomodate both target groups, the overriding feel should be one of professionalism, stability, trust and expertise. However, while the site should look fairly "corporate", I'd like it to feel contemporary and have an element of creativity and flair, reflecting the fact that our clients are often early-stage, innovative, technology companies. (I know this might be a tricky balance...)

  3. An ability to easily update and edit content

• The site should not have "gimmicks". (Definitely no devices like the moving arrow in the current site!)
  
  It should be fairly conservative, while still feeling contemporary and fresh.
