We need a logo design for a new non-profit that will help people who work with children and youth according to a model called "Wraparound." (Wraparound is an holistic, family and community-based approach for working with children, youth, and their families - who are often effected by mental health conditions - so that they can live in their homes and communities and realize their hopes and dreams.)
The National Wraparound Implementation Center (NWIC) will work with state human service systems to start wraparound programs in communities throughout their state. NWIC is a partnership between the three leading Universities in wraparound implementation: The University of Washington, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences; Portland State University, School of Social Work and the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work. The goal is to ensure that sites have concentrated support to implement high fidelity and high quality Wraparound for children with behavioral health needs and their families.
We would like the logo to reflect:
• Coming together of the three universities (colors are purple, green, red, yellow and black)
• The idea of teamwork - but without something like 'figures holding hands'
• The idea of linking together
• The concept of wraparound - please see www.nwi.pdx.edu for more background on the wraparound model.
We had some ideas for the design - feel free to incorporate some or none of these concepts (we just don't want anything with figures holding hands or stick figures):
• Could look hand drawn
• Spirals and waves
• circular, moving toward something (I have an example logo I'm attaching with this request)
• A möbius strip or Venn Diagram
We're really in a hurry so we need something ASAP. Thanks!
