LOGO BRIEF

INDUSTRY: Fashion

BRAND: Charlie a Go-Go

PRODUCT: Clothing for women in sizes 12 to 20 ('plus size')

DEMOGRAPHIC: Middle to upper-middle income women aged 40+. Women who went to high school in the mid-sixties to mid-eighties. They wore cutoff jeans, went to Fleetwood Mac concerts, and tanned without worrying about skin cancer! Life was carefree and colorful. These same women are now mothers and grandmothers but the fashion industry has forgotten who these ladies are at heart. They are not happy to 'age gracefully' like their own mothers and grandmothers (of the 'Bob Hope' Generation). They don't want 'mom jeans', velcro walking shoes, and are tired of Wal-Mart 'cheapie' crap. In their hearts, they are still the hot chicks who did crazy stuff to a cool soundtrack 'back in the day'.

FEEL: Sophisticated and feminine but a bit sassy and funky

LOOK: A wordmark logo . "Charlie" in the sophisticated/feminine font and "a Go-Go" in something funky or fun (but not cutesy or adolescent)

COLORS: Open except for black. We would prefer charcoal be used instead of black. Feel free to use colors from the 1960's-1970's or from our Mood Board (below)

NOTES: We are looking for a little *icon/symbol* of some sort that we can make into vanity tags, zipper pulls, patches, etc. If something can be worked in with the logo, that we could use later for branding, that would be a bonus. Also, the "Look and Feel" slider doesn't seem to be working! Please let me know if you can/can't see the settings. It's definitely not straight down the middle.
