Sounds like you''ve got your logo all but designed with the outline of Queensland and maroon and yellow and all. Nothing to do with the concept of paving, which should be the focus of the logo, which is supposed to identify your business, not place it on a map. I imagine your customer base knows where you are. There are thousands of businesses in Queensland, so why even consider incorporating an element that may be found in many other attempts at branding and will only render your own generic. Let the designers do their job.
